I build intelligent, secure systems.
Exploring AI, machine learning, cybersecurity, and the ideas connecting them.
Building to understand.
Projects where software has to reason, react, or protect something meaningful. Open any card for the full case study.
Campus Pulse
A location-aware campus event discovery experience for CSULB students, designed to surface what is happening nearby without burying people in another noisy feed.
AI Search Lab
A collection of small, inspectable implementations that make foundational AI ideas concrete—from graph search and minimax to logic and reinforcement learning.
Predator–Prey Simulation
An experimental flocking environment for studying emergent behavior, pursuit, and avoidance through simple local rules.
Notes from the rabbit holes.
I move between AI, security, privacy, and the social consequences of technology. Open a note to read it.
Learning AI by implementing it
Why small, inspectable implementations can teach more than treating intelligent systems as sealed products.
What public data can reveal about a person
Connecting the harmless-looking fragments of a digital footprint—and the security risks that appear once they are combined.
Generativity: openness versus control
A practical look at why open systems create both extraordinary opportunity and stubborn security problems.
Curious across boundaries.
The most interesting problems rarely stay inside one discipline. I like crossing the lines between intelligent systems, security, human behavior, and the real-world constraints software has to survive.
I’m Daniel Zambrano, a Computer Science student at California State University, Long Beach concentrating in Machine Learning & AI, with a minor in Cybersecurity.
Right now I’m finishing my bachelor’s, building Campus Pulse, and turning the subjects I study into projects and clear technical notes. I’m interested in roles where curiosity and careful engineering matter more than buzzwords.
